FBOs Rev Up for Next Month's Super Bowl

As the New York area FBOs prepare for the onslaught of business aircraft arrivals at the Super Bowl little more than two weeks away, some continue to develop their plans and customer incentives. At NBAA’s Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference, which began today in New Orleans, Sheltair, which operates FBOs at five area airports (John F. Kennedy International, La Guardia, MacArthur, Republic Airport in Farmingdale and Francis S. Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach), announced it has representatives at the show (Booth No. 902) to accept reservations and provide operational details. The Florida-based provider will be offering game-day events at those locations, double AVTRIP rewards points, and has waived its special-event fees. The company noted that hangar space at MacArthur and Republic is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
