ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China is now providing ground-handling support for aircraft operators at Beijing Daxing International Airport (ZBAD). The company signed a partnership agreement for the new service on Monday with Capital Airport Holding Business Aviation Management (CBM).
The airport, located 37 miles south of Beijing city center, has become a popular choice for business aircraft following extensive investments. The site now includes a 3.2 million-sq-ft business aviation enclave, including an FBO, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility, and ramp with space for 85 aircraft and hangars.
ExecuJet Haite has an established MRO operation at Daxing providing line and base maintenance for Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, Embraer, and Bombardier business jets. The company also provides handling support from an air-conditioned 54,000-sq-ft hangar with space for eight large jets, in tandem with the services it has provided at Beijing Capital International Airport (ZBAA) under a separate agreement for the past two years.
The joint CBM/ExecuJet Haite FBO building extends through three levels and includes 12 VIP rooms, offices, and several lounges. It has separate departure and arrival channels for domestic and international flights, and another for special-mission charter operations, including head-of-state aircraft. Four hangars are available for parking and can accommodate aircraft as large as an Airbus ACJ bizliner.
“Providing ground-handling services at Beijing Daxing International Airport is a further extension of our award-winning maintenance and line services and demonstrates our unwavering commitment towards supporting customers while in China,” said ExecuJet Haite general manager Paul Desgrosseilliers. He has just been elected to chair the Asian Business Aviation Association, which on Friday honored the company with its Best MRO Provider Award for the region.
ExecuJet Haite, a first-time exhibitor at NBAA-BACE, was formed in 2010 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Haite Group. The company also operates a business jet MRO at Binhai International Airport (ZBTJ) in Tianjin, China.
