Signature Acquires Virgin Islands Bases

The world's largest aviation service provider has struck a deal to buy the St. Thomas Jet Center and its Alliance Aviation affiliate.

Signature Flight Support's purchase of the St. Thomas Jet Center is the company's latest expansion in the Caribbean. The island is the most populated and most visited of the Virgin Islands, and its tourism levels are beginning to normalize once again, after the island was slammed by two powerful storms during the 2017 hurricane season.

Signature Flight Support has increased its footprint in the Caribbean, with an agreement to acquire the full-service St. Thomas Jet Center, an FBO at Cyril E. King-Charlotte Amalie Airport, which also operates the lower-cost service provider Alliance Aviation at the field.
