Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

London business aviation services provider Harrods Aviation (Booth 318) has been building its presence in the Asia-Pacific region and eyes this year’s ABACE as a platform to expand on that effort. Harrods Aviation’s Will Holroyd and Nathan Farrow recently travelled to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Beijing to build relationships with clients, and a team of four company executives has lined up a series of meetings with operators at ABACE.

 


At ABACE 2018, the Harrods Aviation booth has a traditional English theme that the company said is similar to the English “dapper chaps” theme it presented at the recent NBAA Schedulers &amp; Dispatchers Conference. The booth highlights green and classic colors that the business aviation services provider said is synonymous with its flagship Knightsbridge store.

 


“We look forward to meeting new friends and continuing to build on our old relationships,” said Holroyd, who is sales and marketing director.

 


“From an operations point of view, I understand on a first-hand basis direct from operators their requirements when travelling to London, so that we can continue to meet customers’ needs in the best possible way,” added Kerry Besgrove, aviation operations director from Harrods Aviation, which operates FBOs at London Luton and Stansted Airport.
