FBO Changes Hands at Central New York Airport
An air ambulance operator is now the lone aviation services provider at Canandaigua Airport

Canandaigua Airport in central New York state has a new operator for its lone FBO. Last month, MFC Aviation Services, a subsidiary of non-profit medevac provider Mercy Flight Central, took over from Canandaigua Air Center, which will now concentrate on its core aircraft MRO business. MFC is based at the airport, and while it is currently operating a small lounge from its hangar, it expects to install a temporary terminal with passenger and pilot lounges in the next few weeks, according to MFC president and CEO Jeff Bartkoski.
