A lifelong aviation enthusiast who joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in 2007, Curt came to&nbsp;the publication&nbsp;from the broadcast industry where he was a national science and technology television reporter and producer. He writes on the FBO field, aviation finance, and sustainable aviation and occasionally contributes to&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;sister publication&nbsp;Business Jet Traveler. Curt was a member of the AINtv reporting staff that won the 2008 Aerospace Journalist of the Year award for Best Airshow Daily. That same year, he was a finalist for another AJOYA award. He earned an AJOYA for Best Business Aviation Submission in 2018 and was a finalist in that category in 2021. He received the National Air Transportation Association’s&nbsp; Aviation Journalist Award in 2012 and won a Pegasus Sapphire Business Aviation Award for outstanding journalism in 2021.
Before joining AIN, Curt worked with&nbsp;Consumer Reports’ television division, CRTV, and for several local television news staffs. An honors graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, he earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University in 1995. Curt lives in New York State with his wife and two young sons.

Signature Aviation has unveiled the latest in its facility modernization efforts with the grand opening yesterday of a new FBO terminal at Scotland’s Glasgow Airport (EGPF). Company leadership&nbsp;was joined by airport officials, along with key attendees from the region&nbsp;and local media, for a&nbsp;first-look&nbsp;tour of the facilities and amenities there.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Designed to enhance the guest experience as a gateway to one of the most culturally rich and historic cities in Scotland and greater Europe, the facility provides 4,660 sq ft of space. It features an expansive lounge, large meeting room, VIP lounge, showers, and a dedicated security screening room.&nbsp;Built on the same site as the previous facility, it nearly doubles the size of the former terminal.
“The opening of our new terminal in Glasgow reflects both our continued investment in key international markets and our commitment to delivering a truly elevated, hospitality-driven experience for our guests,” said Signature CEO Tony Lefebvre. “As we continue to modernize and strengthen our global network, we are focused on creating thoughtfully designed spaces that support the operational needs of our guests with the comfort, privacy, and seamless service that Signature is known for. This new facility brings that&nbsp;Signature experience to life in Glasgow.”
