Charles Alcock is managing editor of the AIN Media Group, having rejoined the company in 2019. He has been an aviation journalist since 1986, and previously worked for AIN from 1990 to 2017, most recently as editor-in-chief. Signature Aviation is looking to improve the way its customers can ramp space, hangars, and offices at its airport locations with the launch of a web platform for aviation real estate. The new portal went live on the FBO group’s main website on Tuesday.
According to Signature, the portal allows existing and prospective tenants to search available options at its private aviation terminal locations. They can browse, filter, and initiate leasing inquiries in one place, taking into account requirements such as the space needed and hangar door heights.
Customers can access real-time details about real estate options at the group’s 200 properties in 27 countries, as well as photos. Their inquiries will automatically be routed through Signature’s leasing workflow, generating applications and quote requests.
Aircraft operators and other tenants also get access to Signature’s Resident Premier benefits program. This gives options for reducing operating costs with discounted fuel, free ground power for departures, and priority access to hangar space when away from base.
“Our guests and residents rely on an exceptional experience at every Signature touchpoint,” said Derek DeCross, the company’s chief commercial officer. “Expanding our digital presence with this new platform transforms the search for available hangar, ramp, or office space, creating a more intuitive process the industry has been missing.”
At the NBAA-BACE show, Signature is also unveiling its new “Elevate Every Moment” marketing tagline.
