FlySight is integrating its Opensight mission console, which uses augmented reality (AR) to display real-time sensor data and insights, with the H-Router Multifunctional Avionics Router (MFAR) mission computer developed by German electronics specialist H-Tech Airborne. Announcing the partnership just ahead of Verticon, FlySight said the integration will help operators achieve “superior” mission performance in complex, mission-critical environments.
The Opensight software suite uses artificial intelligence algorithms and AR display technology to process and disseminate real-time mission data, improving situational awareness and allowing operators to make informed decisions more quickly.
Integration with the MFAR mission computer gives Opensight additional capabilities in video switching, airborne network routing, and firewall solutions. According to FlySight, the tie-up will help maximize the efficiency and performance of airborne operations.&nbsp;The video-switching capability allows for multiple video input sources in the AR overlays while streamlining video and data management.&nbsp;
“By leveraging Opensight’s real-time data visualization and MFAR’s high-performance processing, mission operators gain a comprehensive and accurate operational picture, improving both awareness and responsiveness,” FlySight said.&nbsp;
Both Opensight and MFAR use open-architecture design, so they can be adapted to a variety of aircraft and avionics systems, it noted.
