Saudi Arabia-based The Helicopter Company (THC) will install Skytrac’s Iridium Certus satcom system in its fleet of Airbus and Leonardo helicopters. The equipment enables Wi-Fi connectivity, low-Earth-orbit satcom, and 4G/LTE cellular communications.

Skytrac (Booth B1420) will provide its SkyWeb automated flight following service and mission monitoring as well as SAFR flight data monitoring, real-time HUMS alerting, Iridium push-to-talk communications, and voice and text messaging. In addition, pilots will be able to access cockpit services such as real-time weather, marine AIS (ship location), notams, and geo-referenced location data via SkyTrac’s Inflight iOS app.
