He has flight time in more than 50 different and diverse aircraft, including helicopters, aerobatic aircraft, vintage warbirds, jet fighters, business jets and turboprops, and transport-category aircraft. He has jumped out of several of these—on purpose—with a parachute. His defense and aviation journalism has been published in a variety of national and international periodicals.

Toronto-based Aero Asset has launched Aero Asset Acquisitions, a business dedicated to acquiring and reselling helicopters financed by 1st&nbsp;Source Bank. The Indiana-based&nbsp;specialty finance group at 1st&nbsp;Source&nbsp;focuses on aircraft finance.
“This new business unit purchases turbine helicopters, single and twin-engine, in any configuration and from any region of the world. Following purchase, it relocates and repurposes the asset as may be necessary for remarketing and sale,” said&nbsp;Aero Asset president Emmanuel Dupuy. “We recently closed on our first acquisition—Airbus Helicopter EC135P2+, S/N&nbsp;0534 out of Hong Kong. This helicopter is now on its way to the United States, where it will be remarketed and sold."
