Dassault’s FalconEye combined vision system head-up display (HUD), now certified and available on some of its Falcon family of business jets, has been installed by FlightSafety International in its Falcon 8X and 2000LXS simulators in Paris, a Falcon 900LX simulator in Dallas, and in October is scheduled to be installed in a 2000LXS/900LX interchangeable simulator in Teterboro, New Jersey. The FalconEye HUD combines synthetic, database-driven terrain mapping, and actual thermal and low-light camera images into a single view.
