Textron Begins Delivery of Nine-ship King Air Order
The King Air 250s and lon3 350 to CanWest Air will replace the company's B200 air ambulance fleet.

Textron Aviation has begun deliveries of an order for nine King Airs to Canadian medical transport provider CanWest Air. The purchase consists of eight King Air 250s and one 350, which will replace the Nor-Alta Aviation Leasing company’s fleet of King Air B200 air ambulances. The new aircraft will include special modifications such as a cargo door and heavyweight landing gear, which will allow the turboprop twins to operate at an enhanced mtow of 13,420 pounds for the 250s and 16,500 pounds for the King Air 350. Both aircraft are able to operate on unimproved runways.
