Dassault Falcon’s FalconEye combined-vision system (CVS) was named this morning by the National Aeronautic Association (NAA) as one of four nominees for the 2017 Collier Trophy. It will compete for the prestigious award, which is bestowed annually “for the greatest achievement in aeronautics or astronautics in America,” alongside the Blue Origin New Shepard reusable rocket, Boeing 737 Max and the U.S. Air Force 212th Rescue/249th Airlift Squadrons.
