Helinet Lands Swedish Police Contract

Company will provide the latest design in intelligence-gathering and -transmitting helicopters.

Los Angeles-based aviation solutions provider Helinet Technologies has been selected by the Swedish National Police (SNP) to develop a customized mission suite for the agency’s seven newly purchased Bell 429 helicopters, as well as the establishment of a nationwide network of ground-based microwave receiver sites. The system will support the agency’s work in counter terrorism and public safety, providing real-time data from the equipped aircraft operating anywhere in the country to officers on the ground.
