Garmin Flies Beechjet Retrofitted with G5000 Avionics
STC approval of the G5000 in the Beechjet 400A/400XP is targeted for the fourth quarter of 2015.
Garmin is now flying a Beechjet 400A with a G5000 integrated flight deck that modernizes the cockpit of the Beechjet 400A/400XP and increases aircraft utility, provides a weight savings of 150 pounds and exceeds NextGen requirements. It features three high-resolution 12-inch flight displays, as well as two touchscreen display/controllers. STC approval of the G5000 in the light jet is expected in late 2015. (Photo: Garmin)
