Banyan Air Service (Booth No. 629) recently completed an avionics installation on a Bombardier Challenger 604. The installation, which was done at the customer’s home base during a minimum maintenance inspection, included EMS Aviation’s high-speed data system, TW300 DirectTV and BluRay video with high-definition monitors. The tail section was modified and outfitted with a radome to encompass two parabolic antennas. The EMS data terminal was augmented with a CNX-200 router.
“The Banyan avionics group answered the call in record time while providing the high-quality install that is expected for this type of aircraft,” said Matt Olsen, Challenger captain, commenting on the work performed on his airplane. He also said the technicians have continued to furnish support as his crew learns and fine tunes the systems. “Our CEO is very pleased with the increased productivity of his team through the use of Internet and e-mail while staying informed of the latest news,” he added. “We are very happy with the added value to our aircraft that Banyan avionics has provided.”
