FAA Adds to "Lessons Learned" Safety Website
The FAA has updated its "Lessons Learned" safety library with six new modules detailing additional historically significant accidents.

The FAA recently added six accident modules to its “Lessons Learned” online and publicly available safety library. The library contains “valuable information learned from some of the world’s most historically significant accidents,” the agency said. The new modules are from the following air carrier accidents: Capital Airlines Viscount (1960); Atlantic Southeast EMB-120 (1995); Birgenair 757 (1996); Fine Air DC-8 (1997); Air France Concorde (2000); and British Airways 777 (2008).
