Jet Aviation has appointed&nbsp;Jeremie Caillet as vice president&nbsp;for VIP completion programs, with the primary task of managing the&nbsp;completion&nbsp;of large VIP aircraft at the company's&nbsp;Basel, Switzerland facility.

 


According to Jet Aviation (Booth A531), he will also&nbsp;collaborate across all operational departments and matrixed global support functions to support Jet Aviation's OneJet program, for which he was appointed director in January 2017.&nbsp;The OneJet initiative was rolled out in 2017&nbsp;as an effort to present a consistent customer experience across Jet Aviation’s entire portfolio around the world, from customer relations management to the&nbsp;look and feel of Jet Aviation FBOs.

 


Caillet told&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;that over the past three years, 50 percent&nbsp;of its&nbsp;completion projects came from Asia-based customers.&nbsp;However, there are no plans yet to set up an Asian completion facility.&nbsp;“The door is not closed, but it is not our&nbsp;focus now,” he said. “We want to strengthen our MRO capabilities in Singapore and completion in Basel.”

 


An engineer by training, Caillet holds a master’s degree in engineering from the Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile&nbsp;in Paris&nbsp;and an master&nbsp;of science&nbsp;degree in aircraft design from Linköping University in&nbsp;Sweden. He previously worked for Dassault Aviation before joining Jet Aviation in 2008.&nbsp;

 


Caillet is taking over&nbsp;from Neil Boyle, senior vice president of global completions, who is retiring at the end of May.
