Toronto Pearson Airport Hastens Runway Work

Thanks to prodding by the Canadian Business Aviation Association, the current runway rehabilitation schedule is now scheduled to end on or about May 16.

In response to concerns expressed by operators and the Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA), Toronto Airport officials have accelerated the runway rehabilitation schedule and some aspects of the restrictive business aircraft slot program at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The project is now scheduled for completion on or about May 16. Under the original schedule, an additional construction period was planned for October and November.
