Piaggio Aerospace has delivered two of its new Avanti Evo turboprops to a pair of European customers, the company announced today. Germany’s WinAir and an undisclosed buyer were the recipients of the third-generation, twin-pusher P.180, which offers extended range, better climb performance and fuel economy than its predecessors and a service ceiling of 41,000 feet. Both airplanes were delivered with the full options package, including luxury interiors featuring Iacobucci HF seats covered with Poltrona Frau leather. According to previously released totals, the recent deliveries make a total of three for the year for Piaggio, which was purchased in full by the UAE's Mubadala Development in September.
