New Leaders To Take Controls at GA Caucus
Rep.

Rep. Sam Graves (R-Mo.) will serve as co-chair of the House General Aviation Caucus when the 112th Congress convenes next month. “We are pleased that Congressman Graves has agreed to serve as co-chairman of the House General Aviation Caucus in the new Congress,” said NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen. “He has been a tireless advocate on behalf of general aviation during his service in the House.” Graves will replace retiring Rep. Vern Ehlers (R-Mich.), who helped form the House GA Caucus last year and served as its co-chairman. Graves serves on the House aviation subcommittee. The GA caucus’s Democratic replacement for Rep. Alan Boyd (D-Fla.), who lost his bid for re-election, has yet to be named. The Senate GA Caucus will continue to be led by Sens. Mark Begich (D-Alaska) and Mike Johanns (R-Neb.).
