Raytheon Beech King Air 200, Joplin, Mo., Jan. 10, 2006–King Air N37GA made an emergency landing at Joplin after the pilot reported the windshield blew out. The landing was “without incident” and no injuries or damage to the aircraft were reported. The flight had left Joplin for Rochester, Mo.
Another report of a windshield blowing out involved a Cessna 421 en route from Pagosa Springs, Colo., to Oklahoma City on January 16. The pilot reported an injury to a passenger’s ear.
