A lifelong aviation enthusiast who joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in 2007, Curt came to&nbsp;the publication&nbsp;from the broadcast industry where he was a national science and technology television reporter and producer. He writes on the FBO field, aviation finance, and sustainable aviation and occasionally contributes to&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;sister publication&nbsp;Business Jet Traveler. Curt was a member of the AINtv reporting staff that won the 2008 Aerospace Journalist of the Year award for Best Airshow Daily. That same year, he was a finalist for another AJOYA award. He earned an AJOYA for Best Business Aviation Submission in 2018 and was a finalist in that category in 2021. He received the National Air Transportation Association’s&nbsp; Aviation Journalist Award in 2012 and won a Pegasus Sapphire Business Aviation Award for outstanding journalism in 2021.
Before joining AIN, Curt worked with&nbsp;Consumer Reports’ television division, CRTV, and for several local television news staffs. An honors graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, he earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University in 1995. Curt lives in New York State with his wife and two young sons.

After a run of more than 15 years, the JetNet iQ survey will end with the first-quarter 2026 in its current form but will continue under a new name.
Created by industry veteran Rollie Vincent as a joint product between the Utica, New York-based industry data analyst JetNet and his Rolland Vincent Associates (RVA) consultancy, the survey came to be viewed as one of the top market tools, providing insight into the minds of business aviation operators as well as offering trends.
The JetNet iQ team would provide survey-based updates on market conditions at major industry gatherings such as NBAA-BACE and EBACE and would host the annual JetNet iQ Summit, an information-packed gathering of expert panel discussions.
Vincent told AIN that the partnership with JetNet will end in May after the first-quarter 2026 report is finished. He further notedJetNet’s decision to end the product came somewhat as a surprise, adding that a recently completed survey of JetNet iQ customers indicates strong support for continuing it.
“They appreciate the statistical rigor we embed in our work, which bolsters confidence in our research. Without skipping a beat or missing a quarter, we are moving forward from JetNet iQ’s foundation to create the next generation of business aviation intelligence,” Vincent said, adding that he is building a team to spool up for a rebranded second-quarter survey as the two companies focus on their core strengths.
