FAA To Hold Meetings on New SoCal Satnav Routes

Airspace improvements in Southern California that will replace dozens of existing conventional air routes with new satellite-based routes.

The FAA is holding a series of webinars and public workshops from now until February 8 on upcoming airspace improvements in Southern California that will replace dozens of conventional air routes with new satellite-based routes. Phased-in implemention of the project, which is expected to increase airspace efficiency, began in November and will run through April.
