FAA Reissues Order on Drones
The agency seeks to clarify the current guidance.

According to the recently reissued FAA Order 7210.882, "Unmanned Aircraft Operations in the National Airspace System," unmanned aerial systems (UAS) activities must be provided services following the policy, criteria and procedures in this order. Current FAA policy says no one may operate a UAS in the NAS without specific authority, the requirements for which are outlined in 7210.882.
