Bombardier is throwing down the gauntlet for business jet speed, reporting that it has raised the maximum Mach operating (Mmo) number for its soon-to-be-certified Global 8000. The company announced it was increasing the ultra-long-range jet’s top speed from Mach 0.94 to 0.95 at the recent 2025 NBAA-BACE show in Las Vegas. The new Mmo will be the highest ever approved for a subsonic civil aircraft.
