The French company is one of multiple start-ups worldwide looking to drive down emissions, cost, and noise with hydrogen-propulsion systems for aviation. Blue Spirit’s Dragonfly design combines fuel cells, electric motors, and a blown-wing architecture. It aims to start flying its technology in 2026 as it targets type certification and first deliveries to flight schools in 2028.
