Garmin Adds Oshkosh FISK Arrival for AirVenture Flyers

Procedure includes waypoints and notes on the chart

Garmin’s navigation database now includes the FISK arrival for Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, which is the VFR procedure for pilots flying in for the annual EAA AirVenture show. The FISK arrival is selectable as an arrival procedure in Garmin avionics and the Garmin Pilot app and is depicted in Garmin’s new SmartCharts format.

“Pilots should still reference the Oshkosh Notice for full pre-flight planning,” the company said, but using the FISK arrival in Garmin Pilot and avionics can help pilots navigate more precisely when flying the procedure.
