Honeywell HTS900 Retrofit Boosts Power for Bell 407s
Honeywell is anticipating additional HTS900s to be operating on Eagle Copters' 407HP by the end of 2018.

Honeywell (Booth C1329) is seeing increased demand for its HTS900 turboshaft engine and is anticipating another six to eight to be operating by year-end on Eagle Copters’ Eagle 407HP, which replaces the Bell 407's factory-original Rolls-Royce 250 with the HTS900. Fifteen Eagle 407HPs are currently in service. On the Eagle 407HP, the retrofit boosts power output by 22 percent, payload by 500 pounds, and lowers fuel consumption by 17 percent, Honeywell said.
