Electric Reversible Propeller STC'd for Aviat Husky

Available for retrofit or as a factory option, the $30,000 system is being demonstrated by the company on a float-equipped Husky this week.

Aviat Aircraft (Display MD-030C/031B) announced a new reversible propeller option for its Husky A-1C utility piston single today at Sun ’n’ Fun 2015. The electric MT-Propellers system was STC’d for the Husky—its first application—on Monday by Flight Resources, according to Aviat Aircraft president and CEO Stuart Horn.
