U.S. Military Places Order for More of BAE's Guidance Sections

The company announced a $180.5 million follow-on order from the Navy for its Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System.

BAE Systems has announced a $180.5 million follow-on order from the U.S. Navy for its Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) guidance section for rockets to meet U.S. and international demand. The order stems from a $618 million indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract the Pentagon announced in October to supply the precision-guided weapon to the Navy, U.S. Air Force and five foreign countries.
