NBAA is honoring hundreds of companies and individuals on Tuesday at the BACE show in recognition of the industry’s concerted efforts to elevate safety. The organization is presenting its Flying Safety Awards for the period ending Dec. 31, 2025 on the Horizon Stage from 10:30 to 11 a.m., immediately after the opening general session. These recognitions cross a swath of the industry, including companies that have accrued 75, 60, and 50 years of safe flying.
“Safety is the foundation of everything we do in aviation, and it’s something that’s built flight by flight, decision by decision, over an entire career,” said influencer and The Pink Jet president and pilot Stephanie Goetz, who is hosting the awards. “It’s an honor to host the NBAA Safety Awards Ceremony and help recognize the individuals and organizations whose extraordinary commitment to professionalism and safety has made business aviation stronger for all of us.”
These awards demonstrate the professionalism and safety culture within participating companies, NBAA added. “In business aviation, safety is our highest priority and a core value,” said NBAA interim COO Dan Hubbard. “We are pleased that this year, safety will be in focus at NBAA-BACE as never before, with a reenvisioned awards event taking place on the show’s largest stage, on the exhibit floor, right at the start of the convention week.”
Honorees include Whirlpool, receiving the 75-Year Flying Safety Award; Cargill and Eli Lilly, the 60-Year Flying Safety Award; and The Anschutz Corp., the 50-Year Flying Safety Award.
In addition, 14 companies are named for Commercial Business Flying awards for 789,268 cumulative hours; 141 companies for Corporate Business Flying awards for 6,601,059 cumulative hours; 175 companies are named for Maintenance Department Safety awards; 305 pilots for Pilot Safety awards: for 1,974,004 cumulative hours; 83 for Scheduler/Licensed Dispatcher Safety awards; 252 recipients for Support Services Safety awards; and 175 for Avionics/Maintenance Technician Safety awards.
