The European Business Aviation Association has confirmed more details about its EBAA Week event running from November 16 to 18 in Brussels. For example, the Association Hub will provide a platform for national industry groups—including EBAA France, Irish Business & General Aviation Association, and the Italian Business Aviation Association—to engage with attendees.
The event starts with Flight Dispatcher Day on November 16, which will be held at Eurocontrol headquarters. This will include discussions on topics such as the air traffic control agency’s network manager operations center and user interface. It will also provide a focus on future development in flight planning and business aviation use cases for the calculated takeoff time process.
On the second day, the event moves to the nearby Skyhall venue at Brussels Airport, with a program split between the AirOps program for schedulers and dispatchers and Business Aviation Safety and Innovation Conference (BASIC). Alongside a keynote speech by EBAA CEO Stefan Benz, the agenda covers topics including EASA’s new Part IS rules on cybersecurity, maintenance technician licensing, geopolitical risks, and ground operations.
Other confirmed sessions include expert presentations on what the ReFuelEU Aviation and European Union Emissions Trading Scheme mean for business aviation. There will also be updates on passenger information requirements, flight time limitations, and safety intelligence.
