Embraer continues to post record results, reporting an all-time high in second-quarter revenue of $2.2 billion, as well as reaching its largest-ever backlog of $34.5 billion, the Brazilian manufacturer reported this morning. Marking 23% year-over-year (YOY) revenue growth in the three-month period ending June 30, the results come off <a href="https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/business-aviation/2026-05-08/embraer-posts-record-first-quarter-results">a first quarter</a> where Embraer reported a 33% YOY revenue jump, to $1.4 billion.
At its executive aviation division, revenues climbed 32%, to $725 million, reflecting higher volumes and product mix, the company noted.&nbsp;The division delivered 45 business jets—24 Phenoms and 21 Praetors. This is up from the 21 Phenoms and 17 Praetors handed over a year earlier.
Backlog is up 16% YOY overall, with the Embraer Executive Jets division’s backlog rising 5%, to $7.8 billion. Even with increased deliveries, the business jet segment has maintained a book-to-bill above 1:1 as demand remains strong, Embraer president and CEO Francisco Gomes Neto told analysts.
“We continue to see strong performance across all our business units, driven by our focus on sales execution, efficiency, operational discipline, and production ramp-up,” said Neto, pointing to record revenues and the fact that backlog has reached a high point now for seven consecutive quarters.
Embraer officials noted that they still have some issues to smooth out on the supply chain that push certain deliveries a little later, but were encouraged by their efforts to level and ramp up production. In fact, Embraer has delivered 74 executive jets in the first half, marking 45% of its full-year guidance of 160 to 170 executive aircraft. Plans call for the capability to push that upwards of 200 annually by the end of the decade.
Meanwhile, executive jet margins pushed from 20.9% a year ago to 23.8% in the most recent quarter, with volumes ticking up, improved pricing, and lower U.S. tariffs, along with a $60 million tax credit, the company reported.
“Strong customer demand for our best-in-class products continues to drive exceptional performance across the business, particularly following the launch of the Phenom 300EV, Praetor 500E, and Praetor 600E,” said Embraer Executive Jets president and CEO Michael Amalfitano. “In the second quarter, we increased deliveries by 18% to 45 aircraft, grew revenue by 32% to $725 million, expanded margins to over 16%, and achieved a record backlog of more than $7.8 billion, up 5%. These significant results reflect the strength of our portfolio, production efficiencies, disciplined execution, and our team’s relentless focus on delivering value for customers.”
Including its commercial business, Embraer delivered 65 aircraft in the second quarter, its strongest performance in 16 years, and 109 through the midpoint of the year, a 20% increase from the first half of 2025.
