Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Greenpoint Technologies’ Moses Lake, Washington modification center delivered another Boeing BBJ 787 to a customer on schedule after completing a cabin modification and interior upgrade project, the Safran unit announced this week.
The project was among a series of maintenance and refurbishment programs Greenpoint has undertaken for VVIP BBJ 787 clients in the past year. “Greenpoint has delivered a record number of BBJ 787 interior completions and maintenance programs, representing one of the most experienced teams worldwide working on the platform,” it said. The company delivered its sixth BBJ 787 completion project in August. It has also inducted 787s for maintenance.
“This successful on-time delivery demonstrates our expanding maintenance capabilities and deep expertise with the BBJ 787 airframe,” said Greenpoint Technologies CEO Klaus Koester. “More importantly, it reflects Greenpoint’s commitment to supporting our clients throughout the entire life cycle of their aircraft.”
Established in 1987, Bothell, Washington-headquartered Greenpoint is one of the original Boeing Business Jets-authorized completions centers, with dozens of projects spanning 747, 757, 777, and 787 models, in addition to BBJs based on the 737 series.
