Gregory Polek has spent his entire career in aviation journalism with AIN, starting as a proofreader and assistant to then-managing editor Mary Mahoney in 1995 after serving an internship with&nbsp;New Jersey Monthly&nbsp;magazine and completing his B.A. degree in English/Writing at New Jersey’s William Paterson College. By 1997 Polek accepted a position as an associate editor, covering the regional airline beat for&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;in place of retiring industry veteran Don Anderson. The assignment took Polek across North America and Europe to profile regional airlines varying in size and mission from the likes of floatplane operators Kenmore Air and Chalk’s Ocean Airways to regional jet operators such as SkyWest and American Eagle. Today, in his dual role as Air Transport Editor and International Airshow Editor, Polek writes, edits, and manages AIN’s commercial aviation content while overseeing each of the company’s daily international air show publications in Paris, Farnborough, Singapore, and Dubai. Most recently Polek has assumed oversight of daily coverage of the Helicopter Association International’s annual Heli-Expo convention.

Every new-production Dassault Falcon delivered to Part 91 operators now includes AviationManuals’ Ready Flight International compliance and safety program, the manual development and SMS software company said on Tuesday. Designed to help customers plan for changing regulatory requirements, Ready Flight International allows operators to meet international requirements as soon as possible, the company added.
Through the new alliance, Ready Flight International has become a part of Dassault Falcon’s aircraft delivery experience, covering international procedures, LOA support, Minimum Equipment Lists (MELs), SAFA prep, risk assessment, and document management.
“AviationManuals and Dassault Falcon are both acutely aware of the challenging hurdles required to operate internationally and are committed to always keeping their operating customers up to date,” the companies said. “This alliance is a testament to Dassault Falcon and AviationManuals’ dedication to safe flight operations and mutual commitment to provide the best customer service in business aviation.”
Dassault Falcon works closely with AviationManuals to develop procedures and authorizations specific to each aircraft, with as little information&nbsp;as possible needed from the operator. “Our number-one priority is to require less work by Dassault Falcon’s clients when preparing their aircraft for their future flights,” said AviationManuals CEO Mark Baier.
