Jetex Expands FBO Network to UK

The new Jetex FBO at London Biggin Hill Airport is the UAE-based company's first facility in the busy UK market.

Global aviation support provider Jetex Flight Support has unveiled its first entry into the UK market: an FBO at dedicated business aviation gateway London Biggin Hill Airport (EGKB). Occupying Hangar 510—formerly home to the Signature Flight Support location and before that Rizon Jet—the 1,900-sq-m (20,500-sq-ft) two-story facility offers passenger and crew lounges, showers, conference rooms, on-site UK customs and immigration, concierge services, prayer room, direct ramp access, and fueling coordination. Its 40,000-sq-ft hangar can accommodate ultra-long-range business jets.

“Jetex already has a strong presence in Europe with a…private jet terminal at Paris Le Bourget, and the new flagship Jetex London is a natural evolution of our operations,” explained Adel Mardini, the Dubai-based company's founder and CEO. “Private flyers will enjoy a seamless travel experience complemented by the greatest levels of luxury hospitality, while employing the latest technology.”
