Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Execujet Flight Services has reopened on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands with new leadership that includes Roy Romney as operations manager and Cromwell Freeman as&nbsp;operations supervisor.&nbsp;The pair bring a combined 50 years of aviation experience in nearly all operational roles and&nbsp;have worked together on St. Thomas for many years.

 


“Execujet Flight Services has a 20-year history of aviation excellence on St. Thomas and has been my baby since 2009,” said&nbsp;company&nbsp;president Britt Harrington. “Between the hurricanes of 2017 and Covid, the past few years have had their hurdles, and I’m thrilled to have this new team in place.”&nbsp;

 


Execujet’s FBO had been damaged by the 2017 Hurricanes Irma and Maria, leading the company to move into a temporary facility as it planned a permanent home. However, the FBO had suspended operations over the past few months as that&nbsp;facility closed. Signing a new 20-year release at Cyril E. King Airport, the FBO has since relocated into a hangar, where it will remain for the next 16 to 18 months while it completes work on its permanent facility.

 


The current location provides a range&nbsp;of modest amenities that Execujet said will provide for both comfort and productivity, including a lounge with flight planning and printer station, seating, a television, and air conditioning. In addition, the FBO includes two sleeping rooms and an all-purpose room for guests. Open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with 24-hour on-call service upon request, the facility is next to a large, shared ramp for parking with 24-hour police surveillance and video monitoring. The Avfuel-branded FBO provides services that include fueling, quick turns, U.S. customs and immigration pre-clearance, VIP and cargo handling, on-call maintenance, air and yacht charter connections, and concierge.
