The FBO chain has selected industry data provider Argus as its exclusive flight tracking and aircraft intelligence source.
(l-r) Sheltair COO Warren Kroppel and senior vice president Frank Seymour note the closing of the deal with Argus International president and CEO Joseph Moeggenberg, and Sheltair senior vice president of FBO operations Tom Craft. Announced at NBAA's annual convention in Orlando, it will see all of the FBO chain's locations equipped with the TraqPak FBO flight tracking and historical aircraft data program.

Sheltair Aviation (Booths 2960, 2219) has signed an agreement with industry data provider Argus International (Booth 2674) that will provide its TraqPak FBO live flight tracking and historical aircraft data program to all Sheltair locations.

“We are extremely pleased Sheltair Aviation Services has selected TraqPak FBO for its FBO network and API Feed for its corporate location,” said Shirley Mason, Argus’ executive vice president of market intelligence. She added that the system offers a unique set of tools and information at an affordable price, which can help each location grow and enhance its service levels. "We believe Sheltair's FBO locations will find TraqPak FBO's capabilities invaluable to the success of their business."

The web-based intelligence tool will provide the FBO locations with FAA aircraft movement data and ADS-B aircraft tracking provided by FlightView, Eurocontrol European flight data, and Flight Global Ascend owner/operator fleet and contact data.

“As Sheltair continues to excel as one of the top FBO networks in the country, the development and application of new technologies and partnerships has become a high priority to our operation,” said Sheltair senior vice president Frank Seymour, adding the company conducted an extensive review of the available options before making its decision, based on Argus’ superior flight tracking capabilities, customer service, and marketing features.

“With the upcoming expansion of our FBO network, and new hangar and office complexes being built, we wanted a system that would be able to help us support these projects, while enhancing our promise to deliver high levels of service and support to our customers,” Seymour said.
