GWBAA Golf Tournament To Benefit CAN, Aero Club Efforts
Along with preparing for the tournament, GWBAA added two new members to its board – Jamie Wilson with FBO Partners and Scott White with StandardAero.

The Greater Washington Business Aviation Association’s 2018 Golf Classic, to be held next week, will be used to help benefit the Corporate Angel Network (CAN) and the Aero Club of Washington Foundation. CAN arranges transportation for cancer patients to and from treatment. The Aero Club of Washington Foundation, meanwhile, has been working to introduce aviation to local youth.

Designed to promote the corporate aviation community in the greater Washington and Baltimore area, the golf tournament will be held September 13 at the 1757 Golf Club in Ashburn, Virginia. This is the 14th edition of the annual event, which is expected to draw 80 to 90 golfers. “It’s a great opportunity to bring together the corporate aviation community in our region for a fun day that supports some great causes,” Daniel Walker, golf chair for GWBAA.
