WEF Draws Record Bizav Traffic

Business aviation traffic numbers have been steadly increasing at the annual conference, leading to another record this year.

Private aviation traffic to this year's World Economic Forum broke records once again. These bizjets were lined up on the ramp at St. Gallen-Altenrhein Airport. Execujet signed an agreement with the airport to help manage the FBO there in November.

The recent World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, proved a banner event for business aviation handlers in the region, who reported record business this year. Jet Aviation’s Zurich FBO handled 720 aircraft movements and 2,200 passengers related to the conference and supported fuel sales of 370,000 gallons. That surpasses last year’s tally of 592 movements and 1,320 passengers. The World Economic Forum ran from January 23 to 26.
