NBAA Seeks Routes To Ease Impact of Presidential TFR

While most TFRs affect airports, “This one is primarily an airspace problem because it shuts down many of the route options in and out of New York City."

A TFR in place most of this month over President Trump’s residence in Bedminster, New Jersey, has prompted NBAA to ask the FAA for additional supplementary routes in and out of the New York City area when weather or traffic volume impedes the flow of traffic.
