Scottsdale Begins $27M Biz Center, Hangar Project

Project at Scottsdale Airport to include large bizjet hangar space.

Arizona's Scottsdale Airport began the demolition of its terminal building last week to make room for a $27 million redevelopment project that will include a 24,000-sq-ft aviation business center and more than 67,000 sq ft of hangar and support space. In addition to a new restaurant, veterans’ memorial, U.S. Customs office, meeting rooms and public plaza, the project includes two 30,000-sq-ft hangars, each with direct runway access and 28-foot-high and 120-foot-wide doors to accommodate tall-tail aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650 and Bombardier Global Express.
