ExcelAire To Hold Benefit for Breast Cancer Foundation
ExcelAire will hold Wings & Wheels at its MacArthur Airport FBO on August 10 for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.

Charter company ExcelAire will hold a benefit event for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund next month. Dubbed Wings & Wheels, the VIP event will be held on August 10 at ExcelAire’s FBO and private jet hangar at Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. All proceeds from the silent and live auction will go to the cancer foundation. Cessna, Embraer and Gulfstream will display their latest jets at the Wings & Wheels event while HeliFlite will serve as a sponsor.

“This is shaping up to be one of the best parties of the year for those interested in private jet travel,” said Keith Ruggirello, ExcelAire’s v-p of sales and marketing. “We expect a fantastic showing of celebrities and business leaders at this one-of-a-kind event. Plus, for those traveling to the Hamptons for the weekend, party-goers can have fun and support a great cause on their way there.”

In 2012, Charleston, South Carolina’s Hawthorne Global Aviation Services acquired ExcelAire and its FBO and hangar at ISP. Since then, ExcelAire opened a base at New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport (TEB) and has added several aircraft to its fleet. Most recently, ExcelAire added a Cessna Citation Latitude to its fleet last month.
