Empire Seeks to Expand Outside Region
With the regional market slow, and with sharply declining valuations, Empire Aviation Group is looking further afield to grow the business.

A slower regional growth scenario had made this year a good time to continue geographical expansion, said Empire Aviation Group (EAG) executive director Paras Dhamecha, speaking with AIN a few weeks before MEBAA 2016.

The overall market has struggled of late, he said: “The regional business has been tough, but fortunately the UAE is better off than some of the other countries in the region. The price of oil has affected a lot of businesses here and the general economy is connected to this industry in some shape or form. There is no real growth in private aviation, and this reflects slower growth in the business sector [generally].”
