Jet Edge Commits More Aircraft Capacity to JetSmarter

Charter membership program JetSmarter has now committed to buy around $550 million worth of fight hours from Jet Edge.

Jet Edge International has extended its agreement with charter membership platform JetSmarter to provide additional large-cabin business aircraft capacity. The added aircraft will support a new option that allows travelers to arrange customized rideshare shuttle services between cities such as Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago, as well as other destinations in Florida and California. Under a deal announced last week, JetSmarter has committed to up to $200 million in flights over several years. It follows an agreement in March covering $350 million in flight hours in support of JetSmarter’s core services and its new “shared charter” option.
