Bell Helicopter Starts Talks For Chinese Production of 407GXP

The agreement involves Shaanxi Aviation Industry Development Co. Ltd. and Xi'an Helicopter Company.

Bell Helicopter is laying plans to build the 407GXP in China. In a framework agreement signed today on November 1 at Airshow China in Zhuhai, the U.S. manufacturer and Shaanxi Aviation Industry Development Co. Ltd. (SAIDC) and Xi’an Helicopter Company Ltd. intend to form a joint venture for the assembly and resale of the single-engine rotorcraft to government and government-related customers in China.
