Deer Jet UAS Stake Signals Global Ambitions

China’s largest business jet operator acquires stake in global flight-planning company.

Deer Jet, a subsidiary of Chinese airline-owning conglomerate HNA Group, has signed an agreement that will lead to the operator taking a major stake in UAS International Trip Support once the deal is finalized in December. In a joint press release at the NBAA Convention this week, the two companies said, “The partnership will see both companies benefit from valuable synergies.”
