Avanti's Future Unclear as Piaggio Focuses on Military Sales
Major changes lie ahead for the Italian airframer as it indroduced a new industrial plan.
Plans are are uncertain as to the fate of the Piaggio Avanti EVO, the third-generation of the twin turboprop aircraft, after its manufacturer announced it will concentrate its attention on UAV versions. Introduced in 2014, only four of the passenger aircraft have been delivered.
