Malaysia Fire and Rescue Agency to Operate AW189 Helicopters

The aircraft are being bought by TPG Aeronautik

At the Singapore Airshow on Tuesday Malaysian company TPG Aeronautik ordered two AW189 super medium helicopters from Italy’s Finmeccanica. The aircraft will be delivered in 2017 and will be operated for Malaysia’s fire and rescue agency JBPM, which already uses a pair of AW139s.
